Patrick is a speaker, author and certified financial planning practitioner with a passion for helping people and organizations identify primary motivations and align goals. He is a teacher at heart who has presented acclaimed programs coast to coast in diverse settings to a wide range of audiences. He explores the reasons behind thoughts, words, and actions to uncover the “why” that motivates people and organizations. His programs are thought-provoking, challenging, entertaining, and inspiring.
Patrick is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy (where he majored in Aeronautical Engineering with a minor in the Arabic language), an Air Force veteran, husband, and father of four. His wife, Grete (also a USAFA graduate), is homeschooling their children. In their free time, they can be found on the greenways around Raleigh. They were drawn to the Triangle by the environment and proximity to American history.
His career path has taken him from USAF officer to financial consultant at a warehouse firm to where he is now—motivational/inspiration speaker, author and independent financial planner. His passion for truth has been his greatest asset through his roles and is his secret to success.
A man who loves his work no longer calls it “work.” Patrick is blessed to have built his businesses with family and friends. Yanke Academy is the realization of a dream where he can share the perspectives which have shaped his life.
Patrick is active in his community through his participation in the Kiwanis Club of Raleigh, the Knights of Columbus, the Triangle Business Golf Association, the Executives Club of Raleigh, and veterans organizations. He is a past state president of the Air Force Association, current president of the Air Force Academy Society of NC, and sits on the Industry Advisory Panel for the American Public University System.
Patrick is the author of “Defeating the Culture of Death: The Pro-Life Vote.”
Fun Fact: Patrick earned his jump wings by leaping from perfectly good airplanes on the front range of the Rocky Mountains. It’s the only military school where the first jump is free-fall.
